pH Minus
pH Minus is a liquid or powder corrector based on sodium bisulfate (in granular form) or sulfuric acid (in liquid form), used to lower the pH of pool water when it exceeds the optimal value of 7.6.
A pH that is too high can reduce chlorine effectiveness, make the water cloudy, promote calcium scaling, and cause eye and skin irritation.
Granular form (powder):
Less corrosive than the liquid version
Ideal for manual dosing
Liquid form:
Faster action and suitable for automatic dosing systems
Perfect for large systems or professional use
More effective when pH values are very high
Common advantages:
Restores optimal pH (7.2–7.6)
Prevents scaling, cloudiness, and surface damage
Improves chlorine performance and reduces eye and skin irritation
Disadvantages or limitations:
Overdosing can make the water too acidic
The liquid version is corrosive and must be handled with care
